Flow-forming technology is an advanced manufacturing process involving the application of heat and pressure to the barrel of a wheel — stretching and compressing the aluminum, enhancing its molecular structure and dramatically increasing tensile strength, similar to the forging process. The final result is a product much stronger and lighter than a traditional cast wheel, with greater impact resistance and load capacity.
